Sometimes people think that Christians think God was married to Mary and had a son, Jesus. This is NOT what we believe. It is confusing, because we speak about Jesus as the Son of God, but we do not believe that God had a relationship with Maryam in that way. We believe that God, by a miracle, created life inside Mary even though she was a virgin still. She was a virgin. And yet there was life inside her? How? A miracle. God spoke his word and it was so. And we celebrate that Jesus came into our world in a way that noone else has ever done. It was a miracle!
